Storm of Shadows, the latest manual for Wyrd Miniatures’ character-driven skirmish game, Malifaux, features on of my stories. The story is a creepy little tale, entitled “The Malifaux Orphanage for Sick Children.” I haven’t received my copy yet, but I’m waiting with baited breath.

A Review of “The Visible Spectrum”
I just discovered this detailed and thoughtful review of “The Visible Spectrum” at The Page of Reviews. It’s awesome and strange to hear a stranger’s thoughts on one of my stories. This is the first time any of my work has been properly reviewed, and I couldn’t have asked for a better deflowering. It’s largely positive, but with specific and fair criticisms.

Impressive as that may be, it doesn’t change the fact that this story reads more like a very strong first chapter of a novel rather than a self contained story. While the thin plot is by no means a deal breaker when set against such an ambitious and well crafted world, it is noticeable. [read the rest of this review]

I just received my first contributor copies of board games from Fantasy Flight: Blood Bowl: Team Manager – The Card Game and A Game of Thrones: The Board Game (second edition). I edited the rulebooks for both these games. Can’t wait to try them out in real life!
